When the World Ends

by Curtis Ayukawa   Apr 21, 2007

When the world ends the buildings will tumble,
Crash down, break and crumble.
We will be no more,
Just a forgotten race of this forsaken war.

Our land will be raped of all living remains,
What's left, is only the vast broken plains.
There will be no more humans, no plants, no life at all,
Just the ashes of a vast civilization, that once grew tall.

Bombs will fly, people will die,
As we kill ourselves off, many will cry.
We will be more no more,
When the world ends.

I'll keep you close and hold you tight,
But I can't stop the madness not even with all my might.
Mankind has gone crazy just like a river bends,
We will stay close, till the world ends.

Watch as the rivers, mountains and cities fade to nothing.
As the world ends.

Join me in the afterlife,
Where the human race will no longer strife.
We will rise amongst the pain and suffering
As the world ends

When the world ends.
