Tormented and confused
Wondering what horror will happen next
Inexcusable events happening
Sorrow filling the world
Tragic events occurring.

Misery seeping through cracks
Yearning for a better place.

Sadness settling in
Overwhelming pain abounds
Underneath the smiles
Listening to the horror our world's become.
