Don't Wake Me While I'm Dreaming

Don't Wake Me While I'm Dreaming

Send me off to sleep
In a world of which I dream
Send me away so I shall not weep
To a place that none have seen

This is my world the place I dwell
My secrets hidden from peering eyes
My security from the outside world called hell
This endless sleep keeps me from those evil lies

The world of which I can see across the land
A place where all can be
My world that is so vast and grand
I wish this were reality

Send me off to sleep
In a world of which I'm dreaming
Let me drift off in it so deep
If I wake I'll be screaming

Living, is what I don't want to wake up to
Don't let it go through
You don't want to hear me screaming
Don't wake me while I'm dreaming.
