Rainy Day

by omgitsmina   Apr 22, 2007

Tears stream down the windows
Crying out from the soul
Icy tear drops, fallen and unwanted
Never ceasing, no self control

Infecting all that comes in contact
Grey storm clouds stretched overhead
Its vital power overwhelms
Relieving the world of fear and dread

Wash away all the unpleasantness
All the pain that stings and burns
Wash away the jealousy, greed and anger
Toss aside all your cares and concerns

A rainy day may seem so bleak
But its darkness exudes such wonder
The hail, the snow, the wind cannot compare
Neither can the lightening nor the thunder

It's resplendent and it makes me shiver
Everything anew and wet in disarray
And when the colors in the sky indicate its over
I'll long once more for a rainy day
