This Life (Sentenced to Die)

by Christy Carpenter   Apr 13, 2004

Lost in my cell
I'm sentenced to death.
You live for one day
Dying the rest.

This life ain't worth living
At least not in my mind.
So many mistakes and regrets,
No button for rewind.

Theres no time for living,
No time to find love.
Just to be hurt,
This life is no fun.

I'm locked in my cell
In a tower up high;
Told a prince will save me,
I think its a lie.

The lies make boundaries
Trapping me inside.
I'm locked in my cell,
Sentenced to die.
