I heard your old song again,

and for the first time I didn't cry.

I held onto the tears inside,

although I had to really try.

I still love you,

but as more times pass,

I'm beginning to realize

that my love cannot forever last.

My love for you is not getting loved back,

and I can't go on with too much pain

because my stress and sadness

is breaking through my heart and veins.
