The Girl with the Bright Smile

by Italian Stallion   Apr 22, 2007

The Girl with the Bright Smile
And radiant glistening eyes
Walking like a beauty queen
Walked on over to me

With her voice so soft and free
She said hello my name is Elisabetta
Would you care to join me
On this graceful beach walk?

Replying with a smile and a nod
With her tender hand upon mine
We walked all night long
To the sound of the rippling waves

The stars reflections on the water
Moonlight shining ever so bright
What a night this has been
I've found a girl that's unbelievable

This is lovely, Joe. Nice tribute to Elisabetta. If she read this, she would have been very proud. I'm sorry for your loss. But, such tributes to people who are no longer with us in body, proves they will always be with us in soul, and inside our hearts. 5/5. Countess...

This is cool too! I know a girl named Elisabetta... but anyway, that has nothing to do with anything! I really like this poem because, mostly, of it's orignality! I think that it's really beautiful. I noticed that your visuals are always nicely done! I love it.

    What a romantic one,
through out the poem i could picture the view, a view of a couple smiling to each other in a romantic world, doesnt those moments make you feel like there s nothing going on in this world, you are like in a different world and the times go by so fast, then you realize if you have her with you, this tough life will be spent with smile.
    great poem again....
