A Day With You

You held me in your arms tonight,
We watched the outside sky,
The stars within it twinkled,
So happy for you and I.

Your lips danced on mine again,
and your gentle, slow touch,
making me smile in the moonlight,
and making me giggle too much.

You walked me home under the street lights,
and pulled me near,
Your body so warm and secure,
I didn't have anything to fear.

With a goodbye kiss,
I watched you turn around and go,
I went to my bed and thought about you,
So excited for tomorrow.
