It's a wonderfull world - Isn't it?

How can this world continue to survive
with so much war, so much death and destruction.
We sit around and drink and laugh
as fire and death rains from above
As homes are destroyed, and cities fall
simply based on "Intel" and spies.

How can we still strive to exist
as each day brings more inventive ways
to maim and destroy
How long will it take for every life
every family
to be torn apart
to be blown away.

Each day we try for unity, for peace
yet each day our cultures are pushed apart.
We try to bring our countries together, and yet we divide.
How can the world be one with each other.
When each country wars with itself.

Why do we sit and do nothing?
why do we just simply talk?
Why is no one going to take action?
How can this world come to this?

    Bad to admit, but everything's true, that's what makes it even worse. Not the poem though, it's absolutely great. But this damn world with empty-headed politicians who only think about how po put more money into their already full pockets. Unbeliveable.

    We are destined to all come to a point, where our own self destruction will destroy the world. Our mentality seems to be when a problem arises, start a war. Its like we get a satisfaction out of all of this. I really feel what you're trying to say in this poem, and I completely agree with what your saying. I really think right now where getting to this point where its already too late to change.
