Evil's Flame

by Natalie84   Apr 23, 2007

The heart of deceit blinds the innocent
Evil clouds the eyes of the sweetest angels
Senseless deception is so often portrayed
The devil's breath so quickly released

Bad choices engulf ones good judgment
Common sense frequently loses its home
So easy it is for young virtuous souls
To be tainted by Satan's unruly control

The inferno catches us from the inside out
The soul, the heart, the mind, and then the body
In the eyes of the world, we become unsightly
Devilish breath changes our outer beauty

Inside of you, there's a fire silently ablaze
A part of your being that the devil owns
Control your torch, don't let it spread
Don't burn yourself for the chief of fatality
