The night was still,
Romance was in the air,
Love was our will,
Compassion and care,
As our bodies compressed,
And our hearts synchronized,
There was no thought of sex,
I could see it in your eyes,
Then i had a sudden emotion,
One that was real advanced,
It's like everything was in slow motion,
And it happened in one sudden glance,
So i put my head against his chest,
I even tried to look at him too,
I waited so long i tried my best,
Just see what he would do,
In a split second my heart started to race,
When i saw him look into my eyes,
And brushed his hand across my face,
:......Then finally the moment arrived,
I moved closer and put my lips right under his chin,
Then we moved closer till i could feel his skin,
And he felt my request and looked right down at me,
And then i closed my eyes although i wanted to see,
our lips then met but for a second...maybe less,
the music was finished and he eased off of my chest,
I was happy yet sad,
Angy yet glad,
I was feeling as if i might just go mad,
He winked at me and said "i feel what you do",
Then i asked "what do i feel?"
He said "i love you too",
Oh my gosh he made my head swell so long long ago,
And it killed me inside to tell him farewell but i had to let him go,
But my oh my i will always picture and always remember well,
The kiss i almost had with my boyfriend on the date April the twelve.
