Mistakes and Forgivness

by Jennifer   Apr 23, 2007

The day goes on
and still I sit,
and ponder on about my death
in the future I can't imagine my life
every time I see myself
I see myself dead
maybe inside I already am
I feel nothing
want nothing
but to be free
free from the life I'm living
gone from this world
its not that life is bad
its just I feel I have no choice
every time I forget about it
it just keeps coming back
I learned to forgive
when no one else would
I showed some respect
for those who have changed
but no one else will
everyone has a past
everyone makes mistakes
for I have made many
and will make more
but small or big
I've learned to look past
and see the person for who they are
and who they will be
maybe its wrong
maybe its right
but I will fight till the end of my day
for those who are frowned upon by a few mistakes
I am willing to give my life for someone to notice
to notice these people aren't all bad
they've had a past, a history, a family,
there mistakes were brought before them
they chose to live and face them
will death be my mistake
will I be frowned upon and shun
or will you realize
that mistakes are mistakes
and everyone makes them
wrong or right
they should all be forgiven
not matter what the cost
sins are forgiven

Very true, and relatable. It was powerful, and your wording flowed really well. Nice write again. 5/5
