The so-called falling

by Marjan   Apr 23, 2007

Stricken by sadness,
alone I sat,
watched the seagulls fall
one by one
into the sea.
But the so-called falling
had just been a landing.
Too bad I missed the grace of it all.

Breathtaking. How such sadness encumbers you from taking pleasure in life's comeliness is spectacularly dramatic and astonishing.

    An endearing piece.

    Take care,
