Never Known....

I saw him again today
its hard to believe
when i used to see him, i'd smile
now it just makes me want to leave

I once felt loved and comforted
with him i was whole
But because of what he did to me
I was torn right down to my soul

Now it feels like i am lost
traveling through a dark tunnel, alone
Will i ever trust again?
Or will i go on, true love never known?
