You're Not In This Alone

by Miss Megan   Apr 23, 2007

I sit and watch you,
I see your tear stained cheeks.
I close my eyes and listen,
I can hear your cries and screams.

I remember all the hard times,
I really do understand it all.
It sucks, this life,
Just never let yourself fall.

I'm so helpless,
Weak from head to toe.
So completely useless,
Just let the blood flow.

I want to help,
But I don't know if I can.
There's so much I cant do,
But I know I understand.

My life was nothing,
No one ever even cared.
I was worthless to them all,
It's like I wasn't even there.

The pain was beyond hurt,
A hurt I couldn't describe.
All I could do was bleed,
To know I was still alive.

I'm not going to say I'm better,
And that it'll all be okay.
For I don't really even know,
Considering I still feel that way.

But I'm saying I know how you feel,
And how you just wish to leave.
I'm telling you to hold on.
You'll just have to trust me.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger,
So never underestimate yourself.
No one can ever change you,
that's for you do to, and no one else.
