I hope others speak out after reading this. Any kind of abuse is wrong. Great job on putting this to verse.

Cindy.....this made me cry. Probably for obvious reasons. I know there is a way to heal from this type of abuse. I just havent found it yet. I guess I am just waiting for a magic cure. I should know that it dont work that way..(lol) it never does. This is why you responded to my one poem "A way to cope", in the way that you did. You understand in some capacity, whether it was something you went through or not. Maybe that is why I feel an affinity with you, or your poetry. You touch a part of me, that alot dont know or feel. Your poetry is always on point. You've responded to alot of my poetry, and if you read (perhaps you have) some of my older stuff you probably can relate. Once again, I can only say that your poetry is great, and this one is very relateable(sp). Great job, dear friend.

Erm.. wow Cin, i don't know what to say.
This poem has hit home with me because i can relate to certain aspects of it. Probably in a different way but the was i interpreted it i can relate to nontheless..
And it's really struck a strong chord with me.
To keep it bottled up is wrong and i know that, but sometimes when you tell someone, things don't turn out for the better
