Reflection Of Shame

You were there for me.

but I was too blind to see.

That you were never to be.

Everything was a lie.

My heart fell and i cried.

My heart stopped and i died.

Broken you fell apart.

But not from a broken heart.

It was a lie from the start.

Your guilt will never heal.

The truth you'll never feel.

Everything you said,

was every tear i shed.

Every time i bled,

was every lie you fed.

But now you've gone too far.

By being who you are.

The person in the mirror.

ashamed that your still here.

My reflection disappears.

And fades while left in fear.

Dreaded by your act.

This death you left intact.

You'll never feel this pain.

When you've realized your insane.

In the end I'm left with shame.

This nonsense was a game.

My mind cannot be tamed

By voices yelling my name

Now left alone in hell

I lay with an empty shell.
