At night when I close my curtains
I sometimes stare out my window
To look at a night sky filled with stars
Opening the casement to feel the wind blow
And when I take a look below
I see a girl; she has never noticed me
She's lying down on a trampoline
Looking above; wondering what there'll be
And while she's gazing at the stars
She is smiling through her tears
Because she's lying on the only place
That for a second will take away her fears
She's afraid of her emotions
Which she never seems to understand
Afraid of things she can't assign
She simply never knew what they meant
It feels like her mind always plays a game
Like a never-ending roller coaster ride
But when she's lying on that trampoline
Just a moment everything will be all right
And when she sees a shooting star
She makes the same wish once more
That one day she'll find peace in her mind
Not being afraid of herself anymore
