The Meadows

by Rina   Apr 24, 2007

The golden streams of sunshine
feels warm to my skin and soul
Gazing up the clear blue sky
Feeling it's greatness and beauty
All my problems seems so small
And I decide to leave them all
The soft sweet smell of dewy grass
The drowsy hum of the bees
The whisper of leaves in the gentle breeze
They ease my pain and bring me peace

I fill my lungs with the fresh air of the meadows
And close my eyes as the wind kisses my hair
I watch the fluffy marshmellows
Floating in the air

Nothing in this whole wide world
Can ever be more pleasant
Than the warm meadows in the spring
Where everything's like a dream
