In the beginning you felt butterflies in your stomach when ever you'd see him,
and all you could dream about was the day of maybe becoming his wife.
With time passing on your love grows strong.

Then you're struck with the news that the family has to move.
Your heart feels broken, you tell each other that your love will never end because it's so strong.
Beautiful words are spoken and you tell each other your love will carry on.
The day has come to say good-bye.
You sit with your love and all you can do is cry.
He tells you he'll never love another.
That you're his baby girl.
In your heart you believe it's true,
and you tell him he is your world.
It starts with days, weeks, months going by.
You both feel lost, confused and all you can do is cry.
You keep in touch mainly by chat and phone calls.
You can't wait to hear his voice because you feel loved, secure and he'll never let you fall.
You both had agreed to end it as friends.
Yet the love you feel for him is more than
he can comprehend.
You find out he's lied to you about having another girl.
He tells you that you're still his one and only baby girl!
Yet the day you found out he has a girlfriend.
You feel betrayed because he chose not to be man enough to tell you,
so your life feels like it's come to an end.
When he calls you he tries to assure you that you're the only one for him.
That any other girl would just be a casual relationship,
and he could never love any of them.
It hurts so deep that it makes you not know what to believe.
You have been honest till this day,
because you thought he was yours for always.
You're confused and hurt by what his girlfriend says to you.
Is it jealousy on her part because she knows she knows that he truly loves you!!
You feel there will be no other love for you.
It makes you feel like this is the end of the road for you.
Your heart feels broken,
your mind and thoughts confused.
You don't know what is to happen,
until the day he comes to see you.
You'll have to listen to his spoken words
and then you will know if it's all true!
No one in the world can make you feel better.
Your loved ones can only comfort and console you and your mom writes you a letter:

When I see you upset, hurt and crying,

but when everyone's asleep I'm alone and I am crying.
I can't choose the one you love.

I can't choose the path you decide to take but I can guide you in the right direction and just pray that you'll follow your heart. Most importantly I hope that I have instilled enough goodness, honesty and respect to make it all easier for you to be strong, independent and that you have pride.
