I miss you

I look at you and stare,
Wishing I was there.

Right by your side,
Through the adventurous ride.

Things were so eventful,
Now my life left boring and dull.

Couldn't you see my desire?
Your the one who lit my fire.

All I wished for is things to work out,
Now all my thoughts are endlessly filled with doubt.

I don't know how things got twisted upside down,
I long for you to still be around.

When with you I could feel my heart melt,
It's indescribable the way I felt.

But I try to understand and you have to move on,
Your out of my life now; gone.

But still not a day goes by that I won't be there,
And don't you think for once that I don't still care.

I would give anything for you,
Even if you don't feel that way too.

I guess we'll never know what we might have been,
Unless perhaps you think we could try again.

All the small things I worried about that didn't really matter,
Only left me helpless with a heart to shatter.

However, I don't put the blame on you,
If there was something I could do,

I would turn back the hands of time.
Back to when you were faithfully mine.

When everything was extrodinary and great,
Back to when we carelessly went on our first date.

But it's over now,
And I know somehow,

I have to let you move on.
But when I awake at the break of dawn,

It will still be you I'm thinking about.
Cause I'm hopelessly in love with you with out a doubt.

So if you ever think that I no longer care about you,
Nothing in the world is so UNTRUE.
