Stay For Me To Love

O dear heart, what is love?
Is it something to see? Feel?
Never have felt this way before
It almost seems surreal

O dear brain, will you explain
The reason why I ache inside?
It is not because of love, is it?
To you, dear self, I will confide

O dear confidant, I want to love
But then again, I do not
Experience of it I want to feel
I want cupids arrow shot

O dear soul, will we ever love?
Cheated I feel that we have not
My dear heart is hard to seize
Certain that it will not be caught

O heart, please stop hurting
It turns my body so weak
We try to love but cannot
Prospects of us and it are bleak

O dear self, stop it, please?
Do not stare at me that way
I want to love a dear beloved
But they are never there to stay

    I liked this. The flow was constantly well penned and the wording was very well done. However, I feel like this was missing something, yet I can't pin-point what. I agree that you maybe need to elaborate more on things, so we gain a better understanding.

    Very well written, nonetheless.
