Words Forgotten

by Kenzie   Apr 24, 2007

Eventually all the Thoughts and Words
Will Fade Away,
And all that will be Left
Are the Faces and the Feelings;
The Pictures You've Stored in Your Mind.

As You Look back to Remember
The Reasons of Your Pain,
The Words You will never Find;
But the Images will Last a Life Time.

Every Time You lay Your self to Rest
Those Haunting Reflections
Will float Behind Your Eyes.
A Word or two just might Pass Through
As Hazy as the Clouds on a Rainy day.

Your Heart will Break
As Your Soul does Ache.
The Words as Clear Now,
As They were those Many years ago.

And as these Words have become Clear
They will stay in Your Mind for Days to Come.
Emotions running in Endlessly Eternal Circles
As the Figures that Haunted
Leave Your Mind to Stand Right Before Your eyes.
A Reunion You'd never had in Mind...

The Words Spinning Faster
As the Memories begin to Sting.
With that Face Right Before You,
The Story You now Remember.

The Pain, the Confusion setting Back in.
Your Heart Skipping Beats
With every Word's Flare.
Sorrow Seeping through Apologies
As the Tears Stream Down.

Finally Forgiveness Erases the Regret,
Setting Your Soul to Rest
With every Soothing Word
Of Remorse and Guilt.
