My Lost Love

by grace   Apr 24, 2007

If love were a sound,
It would be the song we used to sing
whenever we were together.

If love were feeling,
It would be the sensation in our hands
when they used to finally meet.

If love were an aroma,
It would be the scent of the flower
you gave me.

If love were a vision,
It would be the sight of us
when you would put your arm around my waist.

If love were a flavor,
It would be the tast of your lips
when they would sweep mine.

If love were true,
It would have been
me and you...

This poem had great meaning portrayed behind it I think the emotions were quite effective but the structure really let this down. I think you should try and put this into stanzas and made the lines look more effective. Then this poem would look a little neater. Other then that good job~Mel
