Doing the Right Thing

by Michael D Nalley   Apr 25, 2007

Doing the wrong thing for the right reason
Seems to be paradoxical treason
A conflict of my mindless soft heart
Can invite trouble from the start

Doing the right thing for the wrong reason
To avoid rain while my soul is wizen
Without love I can be a noisy gong
Ringing and singing a pointless song

Doing the right thing for the right reason
Everything under the sun has a season
The fallen seed soon shall rightfully rise
What is wrong with the right to compromise?

Staying true to yourself I see... Again amazingly well written. I to would rather do something for the right reason, and possilbly suffer for it, than do something that will bring me false plesure for the wrong reasons. Or at least that it what I read into your words. Again, keep writting, for the losss of your written word would be tragic indeed. 5/5
