Turn To Him

The doors slammed shut
The clocks run out
I don't think you quite understand
With this tender forgiving love
Comes a commanding powerful hand
"Live your life to the fullest"
That's what you all say
But what about when this life's over
What about when it's judgment day
Are you ready to stand before our God
As he recaps on your past
Or would you want to change your life
The life that went too fast
So I say to you now, do not wait
Because the end is sooner than you think
Our days are numbered one by one
And can be gone in less than a blink
Our God he loves us but like a father
Must discipline his child
He wants to help, wants to protect
Doesn't want us to run wild
So turn to him, embrace his love
And he'll show you his wonderful grace
So when that door does slam shut
He'll welcome you to his Heavenly place
