When I found that lump
My stomach filled with dread
I couldn't imagine
My Pepsi dead
I was afraid
To take her to the vet
Incase I had to put her down
And make a decision I'd regret
But the vet said we could wait
And see how she goes
And keep an eye on that lump
To see if it grows
Hopefully it will stay the same
And my Pepsi wont suffer a tumor
If she does I will be there
To give her a happy life and groom her
Pepsi is a hamster
And 18 months old
So she would die in surgery
Or so I have been told
But hearing shes at no big risk
Has helped me sleep at night
Just knowing that she wont drop dead
And that she's gonna be alright
