Night

by rooney   Apr 25, 2007

This is the night, the night that i died
raining as i went for my evening run
the lighting strikes and the thunder rolls
the roads get slippery and they get wet
not knowing this is how i would pay my debt
losing my grip as i start to fall
over the bridge and into a wall
the oceans turning a crimson red
nobody knowing that i was dead
the blood fads away, the body disappears
the screaming sounds that nobody hears
the night goes on without any worry
the people move on quick and scurry
the rain tumbles down, the trucks rumble past
going furious and going fast
and this the night, the night that i died
