Living In A Shadow

I stand behind everyone.
No sound comes from me.
I simply back and watch as everything is happening around me.
My world is dark.
But the sun shines around me.
You share all your secrets with me without even knowing it.
And no one else will find out.
I will always be by your side.
And will follow you everywhere you go.
I'm never noticed.
But, still, I will not fade away.
The perfect image of you is copied to me.
Your face doesn't show on me but it's still a part of me.
Please don't hurt yourself.
For I wish to keep on living.
I can not take your pain away.
But, I will still watch over you.
Living in a shadow may seem hard.
And a shadow is what I am.
My life may seem boring but it is everlasting.
