The Crimson Cleric

by Prince Enigma   Apr 25, 2007

I saw it with my own eyes
They really do exist
Angelic and most divine
Emerging from the hazy mist...

It all started two years ago
Running through the field like a child
Looking for a guild to call home
As we took her away from the wild...

Like a flower that grows anywhere
She brought joy and beauty to us
Her rosy petals fall one by one
A person we can dearly trust...

Faithful and loyal
Bringing people together
Mending the hearts of many
A crimson cleric forever...

Mom told me once angels are white
Was she ever wrong, I said
This one didn't have wings
This one comes in red...

Wow, the theme && topic are outstanding, I really feel like I was there. I love the line "Running through the field like a child". My only critisism would be the 4th stanza is a bit weak and wobbles the balance. Besides that it was great.
