This is sad. Your emotions really come through in this poem.

On the outside I show a disguise, not the real me
you have to come closer if you want to really see
the truth beneath me the truth I hold inside
the truth I don't let show, covered up by my pride

Pride is a good thing sometimes it makes us fight harder. Everything you are doing will pay off in the long run. The school and work will make your children proud of you. Just give them all the love you can when you are with them. Keep writing it helps so much. Take care your friend Cindy

I like dthe begining of the poem very much... Yes, it's very emotional and straight from the heart... Nicely expressed... Good poem.

It is hard to survive but you can do it. You have so far, survuved so long already.
Your bound to have some down days, or down weeks in some cases! Just keep going, your stronger than you think. Take care.
