The secret life of me

by Christopher Lee   Apr 25, 2007

Another day, another tear.
Will i crumble again.
just cower in fear,
or scream the extent of my pain.

Everything all others have,
I have just plain lost.
They are just naives,
unaware of cost.

As the day wears on,
others wear me down.
My silence screams on,
in emotion i drown.

Why won't i just lay down and die,
easier than trying to live.
better than sharing my lungs with the sky,
much less than i have to give.

Let them look on in wonder,
as I kneel for execution.
Watching me with extended ponder,
until too late for resolution.

I agree with you there, the end doesn't quite say what i want it to. Stay tuned for the revision.

I like it but you kind of loose your grip towards the end i think it would be good if you kept going and ended with intense ... but i still liked it
