Crash and Burn

by xbloodonyourfloorx   Apr 26, 2007

Laugh too loud
Fake a smile.
Fool them all
For a little while.

Too much make-up
Covers lying eyes
So no one sees
How much she cries

Long sleeved shirts
Another "I'm fine."
How much longer
Can she use that line?

Her world is a stage
Her life is a play
She simply acts her way
Through another day

Who knows how long she'll last
She has too much to hide
She puts up walls
To save her pride

She hates herself
More each day
How much longer
Can she go on this way

But it won't be long
Soon she'll learn
She can't keep at all in
She'll crash and burn.
