Untold story from the Angel

by David   Apr 26, 2007

To my friends,
My untold story of the angel

Untie the cable round my wings
Set me free and let me fly
Don't hold me down, I need to leave
My true home is in the sky

When I was four years old
I was taken from my nest
Put in a laboratory
Had to perform so many cruel tests

I had to run till I hurt
Yet that wasn't enough
You zapped me and forced me to continue
Yep, times were tough

I was starved and skinny
I was cut and torn
I had no hope, 24 hours a day
From dusk till dawn

I watched my father left to die
Witnessed my mother break down, and never rise
The pain and torture I am put through
My heart inevitably full with demise.

Yet I push through another day
Lie down at night and cry myself to sleep
I was supposed to be 'an angel'
And I silently start to weep

You have changed me
I have turned to the dark side
Yet know that you are my relief and shelter
You're my never failing guide.

Thank you,
Love Angel.
