I wish I was a butterfly floating on the air,
I wish I could fly away without a single care.
I wish that I was beautiful like the angels wings,
I wish I was tainted tall and very thin.
I wish I could leave this world and live for but a day,
I wish that all my troubles would with me fly away.
I wish the guy I love would care,
From his empty promises and empty stare.
A Spanish heart took my own,
And he left me crying all alone
Butterflies so lovely and fair,
Butterflies free from care.
