The last bend

by The Only Mistake   Apr 26, 2007

It's such a disease
Waiting to decease

Just can't respond anymore
Just so that anyhow
It has to end now
It was too long waiting for it

Fearful yet willing
Ready to face the end
That crucial bend
From the land of the willing

Rivers are dry, yet the sun is blocked
The stars are shining brightly, nobody looks at them
The door gets knocked
Nobody opens it

The knocks are spend
Now it has to end
Those years, look what they meant
It is time to follow that last bend
When it's done, look what got buried under the sand
It just was so powerfull, and yet it seemed to be so silent

That last whisper
That last sign of waiting for help
It was never heard
The weak echo on the radar screen disappears
Contact is lost

*One of my first poems I've written in my whole life. Took 2 hours or something*
