There's the girl smiling outwardly
Inside she's struggling with pain
To everyone else she looks happy
Yet feels like she's going insane.

There's the boy who seems to have everything
Yet at home is where he silently falls
Everyone wishes they could be like him
But does he really have it all?

There's the girl who always gets top grades
But she struggles for hours on end
No time to do anything but study
Not even hang out with friends.

Then there's the boy who appears
To have the perfect home life
When in reality his father's a drunk
Always dragging him into strife.

There's the popular girl
Always surrounded with friends
Yet she constantly feels lonely
Wondering when these friendships will end.

There's the boy who appears healthy
And has the perfect body shape
Every day his fingers are down his throat
Eating food he just can not take.

There's the girl who is beautiful
But under the clothes lie the scars
Thinks she knows what she is doing
But one day she will go to far.
