Lonely Teardrops

by Jenni Marie   Apr 26, 2007

Wiping tears from her face
Standing there alone
Feeling empty and out of place
As sorrowful thoughts roam.

Feeling the world's on her shoulders
She has no one to call her own
All alone in a cruel world
No place she can call home.

Her friends all disappeared
Her family she doesn't know
Despair crushing her silently
Doesn't know if she can take anymore.

Her eyes now dead
Her expression bland
Praying inside silently
For someone to take her hand.

Her prayers go unheard
And she waits for the pain to stop
Hoping for a better life
As she cries her lonely teardrops.

Oh that's such a terrible place to be.
    So sad.
