My Letter To You

by Jenni Marie   Apr 26, 2007

I think I've fallen in love with you
Seem to love you more each day
Every second I am praying
That you will never go away.

I think I've fallen in love with you
Every time I think of you I smile
Used to dread each day arriving
But now you make everything worthwhile.

I think I've fallen in love with you
When I hear your name a blush creeps up my cheek
I'd love to lie in your arms forever
No words needed to speak.

I think I've fallen in love with you
You're someone I highly value
So come and make my world shine bright
Tell me you've fallen in love with me to.

I agree with what stephen said about how to change your lines.. I would've said the exact same thing..Also..up untill the last staza every other line rhymed..So not ryhming the last stanza through the flow off..."you" and "to" rhymed but it was the first and last line.. This is the only thing I can see that needs improved...Besides the lines which stephen has already pointed out..I think this poem was still great though.. 5/5

Seem to love you more each day = It seems i love you more each day...

That you will never go away. = that you'll never go away

Used to dread each day arriving = I Used to dread each day arriving

Tell me you've fallen in love with me to. = Tell me you've fallen in love with me too.

Wonderful poem. I enjoyed the repeated first line, a line that isn't often repeated surprisingly in poems. You did a good job at expressing yourself, although the poems' flow was sometimes thrown off by a word or a syllable. Other than that, wonderful job, m'dear.

    5/5
