Behind the hazel eyes
Of a lost little girl
Her wishes are big
And her dreams are small
Look past the cuts and scars
And the tear stained face
She cant help it
Shes grew up this way
Failure is all shes ever known
And put downs is all shes ever heard
And for once she found answer to her problems
And they try to take it away
If only
Someone knew
How this little girl
Could make her life new
Once again she hides
In the corner beside her bed
And to god she prays
That he gives her a reason to live
For shes too young to die
And yet to old to sit and cry
But she always seems to find
No matter how hard she tries
It all repeats itself over again
