When you were sleeping
i stayed awake to look
so amazed by you
my breath, you took

each breath you breathed
so soft and so slow
you had a light upon your face
you had this glow

cute and adorable snores
each one sounding new
but i kept the giggles to myself
trying to not wake you

before you even opened your eyes
you grabbed my hand so tight
