Breakdown

In your life you seem to have it all,

You have everything in control,

But reality is your loosing it,

Deep within your soul,

You never took the time,

Just assume you're the one to blame,

Don't even think twice,

You think you've gone insane,

It's just a breakdown,

It happens all the time,

But slowly your dying,

It's tearing apart your mind

You know your world is crashing down

Everything is fading away

You know this breakdown

Everything is going to crash down someday

You have your lies

Building a wall around you

Leaving you in the darkness

Not knowing what to do

You wear two masks

One of a clown

The voices in your head

Think there's four pawns down

One being your mother

Another being your friend

The voices are taking over

Bringing you, your end

While in this unity

Fate has found it's need

Hate for yourself

Has already planted it's seed

If you find yourself

Then you might believe

Then within yourself

You might conceive

So many times

You thought of giving in

Fighting in this battle

That you can't seem to win

One pawn after another

Played in life's little game

Cutting on your wrists

Being so ashamed

Tears falling to the ground

Falling one at a time

It's just another breakdown

It happens all the time

The voices take control

Life tears you apart

Words go unspoken

Gnawing at your heart

Dependent on pills

Just to get through your day

Closing up your mind

Making it slowly drift away

Nails marks on your skin

Have you broken skin this time

On the edge of insanity

Slowly losing your mind

You question your worth

Can you tell

Just another breakdown

Did you pick your poison well

You forget to see in color

Your life is in black and white

You try your hardest

Just to survive another lonely night

Loose yourself in open waters

Always swimming back to shore

Your addictions have no boundaries

Now your crying out for more

You have your own doubts

But so does every one

You try to escape

But you have nowhere to run

Not to escape yourself

You just want it to go away

Listening to the voices

For yet another day

So it may be a breakdown

And it may happen all the time

But it can get better

You just have to believe it in your mind
