Walking away

The fierce wind blowing on my face
getting colder and colder on the inside
i feel the tears welding up now rolling down my cheeks
i fall hard to the ground
seeing you walk away makes all of this pain stay
deep inside i feel it falling apart
this cant be happening
i know i will never be the same
now i cant go on it ends in one blink of an eye and now I'm the one standing here being the one who cares as i see your back turned walking away

    Its horrible that someone can turn their back on someone, leaving them with the pain while they walk away unscathed. The only thing you can put it down to is that people are plain and simple cold hearted. But we shouldnt let them drag us down to their levels, when we're hurt we've just got to try to be strong.
    A poignant and great write.
