Trapped in his lies

He's is getting all trapped in his lies
He's doesn't understand what he's done
He doesn't know how bad he's messed up their lives
Poor girls is still figuring out where her dad is at
No one understands how she's feeling inside

He just wishes this was all only in his dreams
He still hides his secrets behind closed eyes
At night, they wake with unpleasant screams
Cold swat drips from her cheeks
Now it's interfering with their daily routines

He cannot find a solution for this hideous act
He stumbles in darkness though the sun still shines
She's having the worst time accepting the fact
That she's gone through this terrible loss
They want to get out of this hole which they're trapped

Lies keep holding them tight,
Together but apart,
unable to see the light
Until he speaks the truth
