Unseen Through Injustice

by Karly   Apr 27, 2007

A timid girl of incorruptibility
Smiles after obtaining society's hostility
As quick utter judgments continue to increase
She hides her rage and reveals only peace

She doesn't appear as important within the first glance
But from then her rank is submitted without another chance
That's precisely the world today, and that's how it goes
Her character is rejected because that's what they chose

Continuing to struggle profusely inside
While she lets damaging slander ultimately slide
For she holds onto the innocence that always remained
And was just that angelic tone that everyone refrained

The anger from injustice might seep through her eyes
But never quite seen for it's often placed in disguise
She can handle herself even if it's hard on her own
She'll make it through another day with the same calming tone

Her true identity is never exactly to be preferred
Since minds of the people are intolerably absurd
So she'll maintain her habit of living unexpressed
But she'll be more admirable than the world ever guessed
