Body

by jason   Apr 27, 2007

Eating breathing creeping
like a baby crawling around
stopping while teething

biting hard
through tender skin
scarlet blood filled with sin
dripping down
no word to ones kin

a body ripped up with shards
being stuffed into the trunk of a car
eyes red with death
blood running down the chest
a body laid to for ever rest

the trunk slams down
the car begins to drown
body laid heavily
sinking all the way
with no smile or frown

the body floats around
in a sea of blood
with the fish floating all around
pecking at this body laid
to forever never touch the ground

body laid heavily floating down

Wow! A really smashing poem! It's kinda hard to put it in words. I liked this one a lot. I could see just about everything that was happening. I like the description. Once again, punctuation would make this poem flow a lot nicer. Other than that, it was well penned. Good job, and 5/5.
