Love's kingdom

When I read your poems
I once again unwillingly learn
how much you loved her
upon meeting her how easily
you placed your heart in her hand
when in those eyes you looked
you found your lost paradise
and with a deceptive smile
you made her the queen of your kingdom

and in the kingdom was born a goddess
to whom you lost your soul
by the sweet essence of her arrear
you lost your innocence
from her face
your eyes couldn't take leave
so within your heart was born a divine love
to a goddess in the form of a mortal

the winter night, the death of spring and the mournful song
of the broken wing
birds didn't caress your eyesight
when you were in the pleasure of her company
your dreamy eyes with the relaxed smile
fixed upon your lies
you took a step closer and entered the kingdom
of your love, the goddess in her love you embraced your soul
your innocence and simplicity lost its face to desire
and your heart was cursed
by her love
that you shall love no other but her
and this goddess of deception sealed her curse by piercing your heart
with the arrow of love when you were drank wit Love
and no other kingdom existed but the future in her eyes.
you were lost in the tangle of her love
like the fate of Adam, your goddess told you to leave her kingdom
like a dead man upon bed grasping for his lost breath.
you grasped for her love to attain.
and like a sinner you asked for her forgiveness
so like majnoon you were destined
to live the remainder of your life in search of an answer.

it was she who sinned yet
you were the sinner
for some inner peace
you turned your sorrow
into words
words to execute your fate
for the curse it had brought upon you.
