The Therapist

by Never Let Go   Apr 27, 2007

Cutting deeper and deeper each time.
Letting the open wound sting.

You realize your problems
are longer than an hour of words.

Questions running around
the empty corners of your mind.

Motivation slowly slipping
through your bare hands.

Wishing to put your life back together.

Hoping for someone to bring a broom.
The broom that will sweep away the pain,
And take away the past.

You know it could be worse,
But you live by your own terms.

Just as I live by my own terms.
