Hidding from reality

by Krysten   Apr 27, 2007

Sick thoughts fill my head
waking up wishing i was dead
the writing on the wall was never read
and those loving words forever went unsaid

the tears they just consume me
the pain drove me to insanity
the scars reveled my personality
as i remain hidden from reality

I love how short this poem is, and yet how much it manages to say. Absolutely thought-provoking. Your word choice is superb. They make you stop and think and look deeply into the meaning, taking more than just surface vaule.
    Excellent.
    5/5.

The monorhyming stanza is very creative and beautiful. I loved the stock of stanzas and wish to red more sad poems.

I liked this piece although you need to capitalize your "I's" throughout the poem. For a poem that could be called cliche you really added something else to make this not as cliche as alot of poems like this. I liked the word choice I found them to be simple yet effective. I'm sure many people can relate to this piece so it's good you wrote about something that other people would also feel. Well done I really enjoyed reading this poem~mel
