Rescue Me

Lying on this cold floor
Tears falling from my eyes
Sweat beading on my forehead
Why did you leave me here to die?

Caught up in this war
Not realizing the danger I was in
Shivering uncontrollably
Feeling terror from within.

Telling me you need to teach a lesson
Because of a deal gone wrong
Why did you drag me into your mess?
Don't you know I'm not that strong?

Praying you'll release me soon
That you've accomplished what you're trying to do
Knowing that there's no one who can save me
Where I am-they don't have the slightest clue.

Praying silently for help
In whichever way to set me free
Someone save me from this nightmare
Someone come and rescue me.
